  • Full Time role, 40 hours per week / Monday – Friday
  • Fixed-term contract

The Southern DHB has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Project Manager to lead projects towards the completion of the Dunedin Public Hospital Interim Works projects until November 2018.

A challenging, yet rewarding role, you will oversee the day to day running of these projects, ensuring a compliant, efficient, and safe operation. Working within the Building and Property Services department alongside other capital project managers, you will be supported in reaching determined financial and programme based milestones.

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience working on Capital Projects, and knowledge of the Hospital and its infrastructure would be considered a distinct advantage.  It goes without saying you must have a relevant qualification (Trade, Project Management or Construction Management).

To succeed in this role you will need to have the ability to build and maintain strong inter-organisational relationships, specifically with the Project Management Office and also other key stakeholders, while communicating clearly between all parties. Alongside this, you will also bring exceptional time management skills and the ability to coordinate a number of projects and competing priorities.

To be considered please supply an updated CV and Cover Letter.

Closing Date: Sunday, 8th October 2017.
