Clinical Psychologist – Children’s Health
- Fixed-term for up to one year
- 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time clinical psychologist to join us on a fixed-term basis working with children and families in our Children’s Health Service.
Joining a small but dedicated team you will work effectively as an autonomous health professional and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing psychological assessments and interventions for children referred to the Child Health Service.
This position requires strong communication skills and ability to be flexible with excellent organisational and time management skills.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate effective clinical psychological/neuropsychological assessment skills and experience in the treatment of children in the context of their families.
Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of services for Children’s Health, you will have a demonstrated understanding of cultural issues and a commitment to bi-culturalism.
A current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZ Psychologists Board with registration in the Clinical scope of practice is required for this position.
