Casual Administrator Officer - Patient Affairs & Enquires

Our Patient Affairs Team is pleased to be able to offer a casual position for an Administration Officer. This position is to provide cover for our full time staff when they take sick leave or are on vacation.


In this position you will be working within a dynamic team which provides patient information via both an enquiries desk and clerical role. You will be expected to do general clerical duties and to assist with enquiries from the public, patients, referrers and staff. This is a pivotal position as you will often be the first person the public speak with at our hospital. A professional, friendly and efficient manner is essential.


Previous reception and clerical experience is important and ideally we would prefer someone with experience working in a busy hospital. To enjoy the role you’ll need to be comfortable and confident dealing with a wide range of people and skilled at juggling several tasks at once.


The Patient Affairs team work a rostered schedule between 7.30 am to 8 pm weekdays and 8 am – 8 pm weekends and public holidays. It is important that you are able to work these hours should we call you.


A suitable salary reflecting experience and skills will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
