Administration Officer – District Infection Prevention & Control

- 0.5 FTE – 20 hours per week

A vacancy has arisen within our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team for someone with great customer service skills, to be one of the first points of contact for our service, and to support the administrative function of the team by providing clerical support.
To be effective you’ll have proven and substantial clerical administration experience; excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) and be well presented. You’ll have a good grounding in office systems and procedures and excellent computer skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel, Word & Outlook. There will be some technical requirements so being savvy with smart phones, projector and presentation equipment would be greatly appreciated by your team. There will also be an element of minute taking and typing as and when required.
You’ll be outgoing and friendly and comfortable interacting with all manner of staff, both in person and on the phone. Given the nature of the work undertaken in this role and in this environment, it is an absolute requirement that you understand and can demonstrate clear boundaries with regards to all aspects of privacy.
For the right candidate, we are willing to be flexible with the hours of work, for example we will consider school hours, or for the twenty hours to be worked over four days each week. The salary range for this position is based on the PSA Collective Agreement Clerical Scale $32,392 to $44,107 and will be based on experience and skills.
