Registered Nurse – Adult Packages of Care Service

Lindsay Creek is a 10 bed community supported accommodation service run in partnership between PACT and Southern DHB. This role is working alongside other experienced clinicians in the Adult Packages of Care Service based at the Lindsay Creek Supported accommodation service. You will be working with adults who have a long term mental illness and co-existing problems.
You will bring to this role experience working within an adult mental health environment. You will have exceptional communication skills with a positive manner. Additional clinical skills in the areas of physical health and addictions would be a significant advantage. You will have excellent skills at developing quality, longer term therapeutic relationships with service users.
All employees of the Southern District Health Board working with in Mental Health and Addiction Services are expected to demonstrate a commitment to “The Seven Real Skills” (Te Pou Workforce Development, see www.tepou.co.nz/letsgetreal).
This is a fixed-term role, working predominately - mornings and afternoons with the occasional night shift.
To be considered you must be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate with scope to work in mental health. Holding a full clean drivers licence would be an advantage.
