A recent restructure of the Southern DHB finance team has created a great opportunity to join our high performing finance team.  Significant work has been started and more lies ahead as we progress the transformation to become the clinically and financially sustainable organisation that we want to be, delivering high quality outputs to our customers - our patients, staff and communities.

The primary focus of this position is to develop and improve the finance systems of Southern DHB, including but not limited to: Oracle, Board, and Quantate; to continue to deliver effective business processes.  Key deliverables include: business support; system support and integrity; continuous improvement; development of core financial tools; end to end financial system processes; project managing system change implementation; training and user access; and diagnostics.

You’ll be a chartered accountant, with 5+ years’ post graduate experience, ability to present complex technical information and to translate system development between Information Systems and Finance.  Ideally your experience of financial systems and processes will have spanned global operations in other organisations.
