A recent restructure of the Southern DHB finance team has created a great opportunity to join our high performing finance team. Significant work has been started and more lies ahead as we progress the transformation to become the clinically and financially sustainable organisation that we want to be, delivering high quality outputs to our customers - our patients, staff and communities.
With a Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) you’ll be a chartered accountant and preferably well experienced (7+ years). You’ll have experience leading and managing projects, documentation systems, reporting tools; advanced excel skills, and strong report writing skills. Key attributes required for this role include being systematic, a self-starting team player, able to work to tight deadlines, an excellent record keeper, and someone who is proactive in their work habits.
