Medical Radiation Technologist - Radiology

Dunedin and Southland Hospitals


  • Permanent, 0.8 FTE to 1 FTE (32 to 40 Hours per week)


If you’re looking for a new challenge, we have opportunities for New Zealand Registered MRTs to join our hard working but fun teams in the Radiology Departments at Dunedin and Southland Hospitals.

The Radiology Department at Dunedin Hospital is fully equipped, providing DR, CR, PACS, general x-ray, emergency, theatre, ICU work, a 64 slice CT, DSA, NM, MRI, Ultrasound services within the hospital.


Southland Hospital also provides a fully equipped modern work environment where your day to day workload includes general x-ray, emergency, theatre, trauma, mobiles, NICU, ICU and ward work.


You’ll need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a great team member with the ability to cover on call and shift roster that ensures the consistent service to patients on a 24 hours, 7 days per week roster.


This role requires you to hold registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board with a current APC.
