Administration Officer – Violence Intervention Programme
- Permanent, 0.2 FTE (16 Hours per fortnight)
This is a great opportunity to provide administrative support for the Violence Intervention Programme (VIP). This is a national programme that aims to reduce the harm from family violence by implementing early intervention in health services.
Ideally, you will spend a full day (8 hours) or two half days a week with the VIP Programme based at Dunedin Hospital. You will be required to provide assistance in a variety of administration tasks such as electronic filing; data entry, accessing information from patient files, IPM, Health Connect South; one staff, assisting with audit activity, document control; distribution of materials throughout the hospital and meeting minutes to name a few.
The successful applicant will be well organised, have an eye for detail, and a positive attitude. You will have excellent computer and data management skills, and adapt well to new systems. You will be a good self-manager with the ability to work autonomously but also be an integral part of the wider VIP team.
Your background will be in varied administration positions that demonstrate your ability to prioritise and juggle tasks, using excellent communication, computer and data entry skills.
Experience working with people in the health sector with patient management systems would be advantageous.
