  • Fixed term, 0.5 FTE (20 Hours per week)

Internal Applicants Only

An opportunity has arisen in Queen Mary for an experienced Registered Midwife to take up a 0.5 FTE Core position from early January 2018, for a period of up to 3 months. This is a great opportunity to work up in a core capacity, to support the tight-knit team at Queen Mary to continue in the provision of exemplary Maternity care to the mothers, babies and families of the Otago region.

We require candidates with recent Core midwifery experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and sound clinical practice. We offer in return a supportive team environment, and a role in which no two days will be the same.

At Queen Mary we birth around 1800 babies every year and we work very closely together with the midwifery and medical schools to give the kind of care our patients deserve.

If you are a Registered Midwife with a current practicing certificate we’d like to hear from you.  If you think you’d like working in a team where integrity, honesty and a great sense of humour count, please apply today. The opportunity is a fixed term, 0.5 FTE role.
