Registered Nurse – Women’s Health Outpatients
- Permanent, 1 FTE (40 Hours per week)
An exciting and equally rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Women’s and Children’s Health Service of the Southern DHB, working predominantly within Women’s Health area, with some flexibility to cover Paediatric Outpatients at Dunedin Public Hospital.
As this role covers two distinct areas, you will need to be a capable and flexible professional, able to work within and support multidisciplinary approaches to care.
Clinically, you will have a strong and committed interest in Women’s Health; you will have strong assessment skills, and the ability to coordinate care across multiple services.
Within Women’s Health you will orientate to all of the outpatient speciality clinics, including Early Pregnancy, Colposcopy, Gynae Oncology, Termination of Pregnancy and Hysteroscopy clinics. You will take a lead role and responsibility in coordinating the Hysteroscopy outpatient clinics. In Paediatrics Outpatients, you will work within the existing multi-disciplinary team to provide support.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced and enthusiastic RN with at least 2 years recent experience in Women’s Health, who has the ability to accept responsibility, work autonomously and have an excellent team based approach.
