An exciting opportunity has arisen for a current Southern DHB staff member to step into a leadership role within the South Community Mental Health Team on a permanent, full time basis.


We are looking for an exceptional Senior Nurse to continue to lead and embed quality initiatives within our Mental Health Addictions and Intellectual Disability Service.  As Charge Nurse Manager of the South Community Mental Health Team you will provide clinical leadership, coordination and management to ensure the safe provision of patient care, whilst acting as a positive role model. 


Working in partnership with clinical and other staff, you will contribute to strategic and operational management and leadership in a way that is consistent with the organisation’s vision and values. 


It is essential that you are NZ Registered, hold a minimum of an appropriate Post Graduate diploma and have a current portfolio (PDRP) or equivalent, appropriate to the role. A minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience is also essential. Post graduate management and leadership experience would be an advantage.
