Clinical Nurse Lecturer/Course Coordinator - PDU

The Practice Development Unit (PDU) situated at Dunedin Hospital is pleased to be able to offer a Fixed Term part time role of Clinical Nurse Lecturer/Course Coordinator.
The Clinical Nurse Lecturer provides specialist nursing education in relation to critical care delivery and supports other staff in the management of a defined patient/consumer group/area of speciality practice. You will work within a clinical specialty acting in the roles of practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, leader/change agent and care coordinator/case manager in the pursuit of clinical excellence and improved health outcomes.
To be considered for the role you will be a committed team member with a passion for modelling quality nursing practise. You will have excellent communication, networking and relationship building skills. You must have a minimum of 3 years practice within the defined scope of Clinical Specialty/Practice. You will be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse and hold a current Nursing Council of New Zealand annual Practicing Certificate.
Along with the above you will have recognised teaching, mentoring and coaching skills and have completed Master of Nursing and relevant Critical Care Practice experience.
