Service Administrator - Southern Blood & Cancer Service
- Permanent 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week)
We are looking for an exceptional administration assistant to support the Service Manager and Associate Director of Nursing for the Southern Blood and Cancer Service.
This will be an interesting and challenging role for the successful candidate. You will be providing general administration support for the Service Manager and Associate Director of Nursing and through this work you will be supporting the overall functioning of our services. In addition you may be required to take on project work and it is important therefore that you have proven experience in using various computer systems for example - excel at an advanced level to provide statistical analysis of information. The ability to type at an intermediate level is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a background in a variety of high level administration positions and possess the ability to prioritise and juggle tasks.
Being comfortable interacting with a variety of people and finding solutions to problems whilst under pressure are important facets of this role.
You will be self-motivated with an ability to initiate and anticipate change along with flexibility in your thinking. Confidentiality and attention to detail is critical in this role. You will have well developed relationship management skills and the ability to interact with a range of people. Additional experience and knowledge in financial reporting would be looked upon favourably.
