The RMO Unit is currently seeking a Recruitment Advisor to join their busy team
The Recruitment Advisor will work alongside one other Recruitment Advisor and together, they will be responsible for the recruitment of Resident Medical Officers for the Southern DHB. This involves undertaking end to end recruitment processes - from attracting and extensive liaising with potential candidates; and ensuring all Medical Council of New Zealand and New Zealand Immigration requirements have been met. The role also requires the delivery of comprehensive orientations for new staff as well as monitoring employment paperwork and reporting.
Our successful candidate will be able to juggle a number of tasks at once whilst maintaining a professional and friendly persona, and must bring an excellent communication skillset. You’ll be a practiced multi-tasker, with the ability to prioritise and apply initiative. An effective problem solver, you’ll also possess excellent networking skills, be a team player, and have a flexible attitude in your work with the ability to be resourceful and flexible when required.
Given the nature of the position, the role will be based in either Invercargill or Dunedin – depending on where the successful candidate resides. Some domestic travel to annual roadshows and to locations within the Southern district will occur in this role.
Please note: The start date for this vacancy will be sometime late January 2018 to mid-February 2018 – following application review we will conduct interviews early part of January 2018
