Enrolled Nurse(s) – Intellectual Disability Service

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurses – preferably with Mental Health or Intellectual Disability nursing experience to join our supportive multidisciplinary team. You will have a range of skills and the ability to work effectively with a large team to a high standard within your scope of practice. To be successful in this role you must be positive with great communication skills, and you will have a passion for supporting people with an intellectual disability from admission to discharge.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills, working alongside patients in a complex environment to meet their identified needs in a multi-disciplinary setting. The emphasis is on the delivery of safe client focused care in an ever changing dynamic setting, working closely with the Associate Charge Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Registered Nurses within our service.
Candidates must be New Zealand registered with a current NZ Practicing certificate and a mental health scope of practice.
Preferably you will have at least two years’ work experience – the team has 1.8 FTE available, so please indicate in your cover letter your FTE preference. We will be reviewing applications as they come in, so we encourage your early application.
