South Community Mental Health Team

 

  • Fixed term, ending on or before the end of November 2018
  • Part-time, 32 hours per week (0.8FTE)  

 

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist in the South Community Mental Health Team, based at Wakari Hospital in Dunedin.

 

In this role you will work in an outreach capacity, providing time limited support to clients in the community. You will act as a Case Manager for a defined caseload, achieving quality mental health outcomes.

 

You will have sound skills in occupational therapy assessment, treatment planning, implementation and evaluation.  As an excellent communicator you will thrive on having the opportunity to build and develop relationships with a wide range of disciplines and you will have excellent organising and time management skills, and you’ll also need to have a client centred approach and a strong recovery focus

 

You’ll bring to this role experience within a Mental Health setting, and have a strong interest in working in the Community setting.
