You will have a keen interest in the health and wellbeing of the children living within our community and in return you will work alongside a dedicated group of Paediatricians, Paediatric Registrars and House Officers as well as other Child Health professionals.
You will be interested in becoming an RACP trainee, or you will have already done so, and be working towards your part 1 and 2 exams. As a basic or advanced trainee, you will be provided with a targeted teaching programme that is designed to provide you with the best learning opportunities for your current level.
You will be exposed to a wide and varied pathology and supported by strong links within the tertiary provider group throughout New Zealand. The role is split and is to provide a comprehensive general Paediatric and Neonatal service with a number of clinic options as well.
As a minimum requirement, you must have a minimum of 2 years post graduate medical experience and have spent some time in a Childrens Health role.
