Mental Health Assistant – Ward 6C, Mental Health for Older People

Dunedin Hospital

 

  • Permanent, 0.7 FTE (28 Hours per week)

 

Mental Health for Older People (Ward 6C), has an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a permanent, part time position.   A stepping stone into the healthcare field, this position will include supporting nursing staff and other members of the healthcare team; each day varies depending on the ward. The role includes rostered and rotating shifts, and candidates should note that the 56 hours per fortnight is made up of a combination of four, six and eight hour shifts.

 

You’ll be motivated, flexible, able to take on a challenge, have a level of maturity and of course plenty of enthusiasm and energy!

 

Experience with the Elderly/Mental Health is preferred but not essential.
