Here at Southern DHB, we’re undergoing significant transformation, as we work towards becoming one system, working in partnership with the supporting the communities we serve. With a focus on clinical and quality excellence, and on further enhancing our organisational culture, we aim to make Southern DHB an employer of choice where our staff are valued and empowered. In order to achieve this, we’re committed to putting the right people, with the right skills, into the right roles.
A senior leadership opportunity is now available as General Manager Primary Care & Population Health. This strategy is the critical vehicle by which the DHB will realise its integration agenda, and a key enabler as we look forward to the design and rebuild of the new Dunedin hospital in 2025. Crucial attributes for the role are a positive, can do attitude, a high level of credibility among clinical and managerial leaders, significant business acumen and above all an ability to get on and deliver outstanding results within constrained resources.
Is the role challenging? Absolutely! But the appetite for getting things right at Southern DHB is strong and we seek applications from appropriately experienced, qualified and talented individuals who are looking to further their career with an invigorated organisation that is setting a new direction.
