Clinical Records Department has an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated Administration Officer to join their team in Dunedin Hospital.
This fast paced role has a strong focus on records management including, paper patient records, electronic systems and interactions with all health professionals both internal and external to the Southern DHB.
You will be required to supply and retrieve patient records from the various departments around the hospital therefore a good level of fitness is required. Upon starting you will receive comprehensive training to support your development allowing you to branch out and cover all roles within the service. You will have proven ability to deal with confidential/sensitive information, strong communication skills (oral & written) and be a reliable and enthusiastic team player with the ability to multitask.
The successful applicant will have previous administration experience with the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Self-motivated with a positive can do attitude will make you a great fit for the team.
The Clinical Records Service operates 24/7 - although these positions are not to fill specific shift work, all positions are expected to cover shift work as and when required.
