Releasing Time to Care Educator

Southern District Health Board is rolling out the Releasing Time to Care (RTC) Programme across our hospitals. RTC was developed by the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvements and is focused on adopting a bottom up approach through empowering and enabling teams to make a difference in their ward areas. The programme of work is focused on lean principles to improve patient care on hospital wards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated Registered Nurse to work alongside the Releasing Time to Care Facilitator and implement the RTC programme for Southern DHB on the Southland site. You must be passionate about the programme and be able to inspire, motivate and support the in-patient areas with the roll-out. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be a confident presenter. You will have had experience administering and or managing projects or quality improvement activities and ideally completed a skills for change course.
