An opportunity exists to join an enthusiastic motivated team providing care on Ward 11, for patients who require a further period of stabilisation beyond their stay in an admission ward. 


Working within the wider multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide appropriate group, ward activities and one to one functional assessments in an inpatient Mental Health setting at Wakari Hospital Dunedin.  In this role you will work alongside experienced clinical staff and become an integral part of the team, where on occasions you may be required to contribute to the day to day operation of the unit.


Ideally you’ll bring to this role experience working within an adult mental health environment, exceptional communication skills, your non-judgmental attitude and your positive manner. 


This is a fixed term, fulltime role, requiring you have be a NZ Registered Occupational Therapist with a current annual practicing certificate, and a clean full drivers licence.
