Rotational Occupational Therapist
- Fulltime Permanent position
As a rotational occupational therapist you will have the opportunity to undertake 6 monthly rotations, getting to know the different areas within the hospital.
The areas could include a rotation in our Rehabilitation Service including over 65 rehabilitation through to a mixture of Acute clinical areas - anything from orthopaedics right through to working with someone who’s had a stroke.
In this position you will provide assessment and treatment for a variety of patients, on a one-to-one basis or group setting. You will work alongside staff in existing areas, and may also extend Occupational Therapy services into other areas. You will be able to work alongside others to determine necessary service guidelines and occupational therapy clinical input.
To be considered for this role you will need to be registered with the New Zealand Occupational Therapy Board and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate.

You will be a self-motivated person who is keen and willing to work as an integral team member, to learn and develop professionally and have a flexible attitude.
You will be computer literate with strong attention to detail, allowing you to complete paperwork for funding of equipment and resources. You must hold a full clean drivers licence.
