Medical Physicists play a vital role in the clinical application of radiation to treat cancer. As part of multidisciplinary team you will ensure treatments are safe and effective.
A position is available based in Dunedin to start a 5 year post-graduate training scheme in conjunction with the University of Canterbury. Once qualified, you will be eligible for registration with the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) [www.acpsem.org.au].
Study in Christchurch for your first year to complete the course work of the MSc followed by on-the-job training at Dunedin Hospital whilst completing your research thesis.
We seek a candidate with a strong academic record, enthusiasm and good communication skills.
