Ward Administration Officer

AT&R Service

  • Permanent Part-time 0.9FTE (72 hours per fortnight)


We have an opportunity for someone to join our multi-disciplinary team on a part-time basis, flexibility required with hours and may include working Monday to Sunday.


The key purpose of the role is to effectively contribute to the smooth running of the AT&R Service by providing an efficient and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service/organisation.


This is a busy and challenging service that will see you working amongst medical teams, nurses and healthcare assistants.  You will be responsible for the administration around admitting, transferring and discharging patients using various computer programmes including IPM, answering enquiries over the phone and in person and constantly liaising with other departments in the hospital.


You will have exceptional communication skills, be able to work under pressure amongst a busy environment, be computer literate and able to use your initiative.


The salary for this position is between $36,239 to $42,740 pro-rata per annum and will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
