Medical Secretary – Oncology
- Permanent – 0.6 FTE – 24 Hours per week
Our Oncology Department is inviting applications for a Medical Secretary to join their team in Invercargill.
To enjoy the Medical Secretary position you’ll be the kind of person who likes a fast paced and varied work environment. As you’ll be dealing with patient information it is essential that you show us you have an eye for accuracy and are confident around computer systems. This position carries a varied workload that requires you to work with different specialties and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines is vital.
Our ideal candidate will have a customer focus and need to be patient-focused as you will be dealing with many enquiries from the public. You will also be liasing with other hospitals, specialists and health providers to get the best outcome for patients. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential and you will have a customer focus and be a proven typist. You’ll have a typing speed of at least 70 wpm with medical typing experience or be an excellent typist with an interest in the health field. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Should you be successful in gaining an interview for this role your typing speed and accuracy will be tested
