We’re looking to appoint a highly productive, well skilled Secretary who would thrive as part of our friendly team, based at Dunedin Hospital.
To enjoy the Medical Secretary position you’ll be the kind of person who likes a fast paced work environment and feels rewarded when utilizing your dictaphone typing skills. As you’ll be dealing with patient information it is essential that you show us you have an eye for accuracy and are confident around computer systems. This position carries a varied workload that often requires you to work to strict deadlines. One of the key indicators of the role is an expected average turnaround time of 48 hours.
Our ideal candidate will have a customer focus and be a proven typist. You’ll have a typing speed of at least 70 wpm with medical typing experience or be an excellent typist with an interest in the health field. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Should you be successful in gaining an interview for this role your typing speed and accuracy will be tested.
The salary range for this position is from $33,223 to $45,000 pro rata based on experience and qualifications.
