Registered Nurse – Continence

Urinary and bowel incontinence are both a distressing condition with significant social implications, and a concern for individuals of all ages and both sexes. It has a huge impact on peoples’ quality of life. The Community Continence service is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our small but very enthusiastic team.
To be successful in this role you will have a genuine interest in working in this area and can motivate individuals to make lifestyle changes, while at the same time empower and promote independence. You will possess a willingness to learn and a desire to undergo or have post grad training in this field.
A high proportion of this role will be undertaking Nurse led clinics therefore it is essential that you have excellent assessment and communication skills – both written and oral, dictaphone experience desirable. Time management and organisational skills are a must as will having the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
Experience in Urology/Gynaecology/Community Nursing will be an advantage and the successful applicant must have a current clean drivers licence with the ability to travel throughout the region as required.
