- 7 x roles available – Minimum 0.5 FTE
Do you have relevant and recent experience in an acute setting? - Do you feel like a change? - Want to learn new skills and increase your knowledge? We’re looking for Nurses with Medical & Surgical skills, but whatever your specialty we have a range of opportunities available. Upon starting in the role you will be working in Ward 7A covering the Winter flex period through until September/October 2018. Once this is finished there is a possibility that you will be required to work in a different ward within the hospital so we do require flexibility.

Within this role you will work closely with other departments in the hospital and have the opportunity to build up a high level of skill and knowledge which will be valuable for the rest of your career in areas such as BiPAP, CPAP and ECG Interpretation. You’ll be expected to develop and use advanced assessment skills and knowledge, and to deliver the highest standards of patient care.
To join our supportive team you will be a dynamic, flexible and motivated nurse who is enthusiastic about their professional development. Of course you’ll also be a team player who communicates well, works with high professional standards, and ideally comes from a coronary care, medical or surgical background.
Please note that at the time of your application you must be registered with the New Zealand Nursing Council, hold a current APC and be eligible to live and work in New Zealand. Preference will be given to Registered Nurses with a minimum of 1 year NZ clinical experience.
