Interested in working at Dunedin Hospital as a House Officer but not quite ready to make the move?
We welcome registrations of interest from House Officers who would like to work at Dunedin Hospital but who are not yet ready for the move. It may be working for us is in your mid to long term plan or you may not have seen the right role advertised.
Teaching and training is important to us here in Dunedin and that is why there are a number of regular activities that House Officers can join in on. Whether it is the regular House Officer education sessions or the journal clubs, X-ray meetings or rounds from the various services; there is always something happening. Dunedin Hospital offers House Officer runs in the following specialties:
With the following quarterly runs available, House Officers are asked to rank those they are interested in working in:
- ED (3 or 6 month runs available)

- Ophthalmology / Neurology
|
|
|
- Rehabilitation
- Respiratory
|
|
|
|
|
- And of course…. Rotator roles
|
6 month runs are also available in the following areas:

- your CV
Please only register your interest if you have completed an internship in your home country and you hold general registration there.
