Unit Manager- Community and AT&R

Southland Hospital

  • Fulltime position

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health professional to manage AT&R Services – inpatient and community, Care Coordination Centre and the Short Term Loan Equipment Teams at Southland Hospital.  In this role you will be developing the teams while focusing on the key accountabilities of operational leadership, service planning, quality and risk management, and financial performance.  The ideal applicant will have a working knowledge of nursing, allied health and administrative workforces, and will be directly responsible for the nursing, and support staff in AT&R, as well as all staff within the Care Coordination and Short Term Loan Equipment staff working closely alongside the Associate Clinical Nurse Manager for AT&R and the Allied Unit Manager.

You will be primarily responsible for the day to day operational management of these teams leading and enabling the team to achieve timely and appropriate service outcomes, and working in partnership with Professional Leaders for accreditation, clinical pathway development and service improvements.
