Do you want to be involved in some of the most exciting changes at Dunedin Hospital?
The Southern DHB is redeveloping Dunedin Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit to meet the current and future needs of our region. We are looking for an experienced clinical professional to join our team in a Clinical Project Support role. The key focus of the role is to assist in a plan to mitigate the operational impact of the redevelopment on other clinical areas, particularly the 4th and 6th floors.
The Clinical Project Support role will be focused on supporting existing or changing models of care, bringing clinical knowledge to the project team and gathering and analysing feedback from users to be used to support the decisions on how the best health outcomes can be delivered. The Clinical Project Support will work within a systems improvement framework.
This is a challenging, yet rewarding role. You will have the opportunity to develop strong working relationships to ensure the correct direction and planning of the project.
To be considered for this role you will have extensive clinical experience and an understanding of the New Zealand public health system with a current registration with your professional body. As well as possessing strong leadership skills, you will need to be adaptable, skilled at planning and organising, and confident in analysing information to support system change. Experience in planning a clinical project is desirable.
