Our Gastroenterology Department has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to apply for a permanent, part time role.


We have a close knit department with 25 staff and are looking for an experienced registered nurse who is a team player with an interest in the gastroenterology field, and learning technical skills for assisting with flexible endoscopic procedures.  We would anticipate after a certain training period and competence assessment the successful candidate would be able to participate in our after-hours acute service roster.  There is also the opportunity to expand knowledge into areas like research, population bowel screening, inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease.   The department offers you the opportunity to work in a diagnostic outpatient service and be exposed to a different type of nursing practice.


The role is 64 hours per fortnight and our unit is open Monday to Friday from 0730 until 1700, your shift will fit into this time frame.  The on call service runs from 4.30pm until 8.00 am weekdays and 24 hours on the weekend.
