Administrator – Emergency Department
- 0.8 FTE – 32 Hours per week
Our Emergency Department is accepting applications for a part time Administration Officer role. Our Administration Officers work on a 24/7 roster so it is important you are flexible and available to work all shift hours.
We are looking for a person with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a variety of people and problems, often all at the same time!
This is a fast paced environment and the experienced applicant will thrive in this busy frontline area of the hospital, demonstrating your ability to prioritise and juggle tasks accordingly.
Administrative tasks will include updating the NHI system with patient details, linking to our EDIS system, documentation of ED admissions, casing notes, printing of labels and liaising with other departments accordingly. To be successful in the role you will need to have an eye for detail and have a mature approach to your work.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to touch type would be advantageous. Our ideal candidate will also have some database experience and knowledge of iPM. Experience in a similar role would be preferred but we will provide full systems training to the successful candidate.
The salary for this role will be from $43,580 - $51,259 pro rata and will be based on your relevant experience and skills.
