After Hours Clinical Nurse Co-ordinator – Southland Hospital

  • Part-time opportunity (0.4FTE)

Our After Hours Clinical Nurse Co-ordination team here at Southland Hospital has an opportunity available for an experienced Registered Nurse who is interested in joining their team.

You will be responsible for providing clinical coordination and clinical leadership to the 80 beds across the medical and surgical wards during the after-hours shifts.  This will include providing clinical support and advice to enable staff to safely manage workload variances, managing patient flow through the wards and close liaison with the Duty Managers.

You will need clinical experience in medical and/or surgical nursing, evidence of post graduate study and at least Level 3 PDRP.  If you are an experienced nurse with excellent communication and leadership skills with the desire to expand your nursing career, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

There is also an opportunity for current After Hours Clinical Nurse Coordinators who are interested in increasing their FTE to apply for additional hours.  In your cover letter, please include what FTE you would like to be considered for.
