Southern DHB is currently seeking applications from RMOs looking for Paediatric Registrar (trainee) opportunities in Dunedin, New Zealand. 

Dunedin Hospital is a tertiary level hospital of 400 beds located in central Dunedin, New Zealand, servicing the city of Dunedin and the wider Otago region.

This role is split to provide a comprehensive general Paediatric and Neonatal service with a number of clinic options.  With a level 3 NICU, and Children’s Unit housed in new facilities, you’ll be part of a team involved in retrievals and transports, as well as outpatient clinics where you’ll be exposed to a range of clinical presentations.

What do I need?

You’ll be an RACP trainee registrar (or working towards this), or a non-trainee registrar with an interest in working in Child Health.

We are interested in hearing from RMOs with a minimum of two years’ post qualification experience and some experience working in a Children’s Health role.

You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand, and be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.  You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council’s website at www.mcnz.org.nz.
