In order to continue providing a high standard of care throughout the patient journey, we require an enthusiastic, flexible administrator with a can do attitude to help us cover high levels of activity on an as and when required basis.
Our Ophthalmology Outpatients area is a busy dynamic area that needs someone to hit the ground running, supporting the wider team to ensure our outpatient area runs smoothly. Our work environment is very fast paced therefore a strong candidate must have excellent organisational skills, time management in addition to a professional can do attitude in line with our values.

In this position you will provide administration support to our team and act as the first point of contact for patients, managing phone enquiries, channelling patient enquiries and booking outpatient appointments. It is essential that you are warm, welcoming, organised and able to remain calm under pressure at all times.
You must be a team player with very good communication skills, who understands and appreciates the need for attention to detail. You must also be comfortable interacting with a variety of people and attending to issues that arise – usually at the same time! We ask that in your application you demonstrate how your previous work experience in administration and/or customer service roles has honed your ability to prioritise and juggle tasks, within demanding timeframes.

The salary range for this position is from $43,580 to $51,259 and will be based on qualifications and experience.
Hours of work will be between the hours of 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
