Physiotherapist - Outpatients

The outpatient physiotherapy department at Dunedin Hospital are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist who is keen to grow their clinical and professional skills in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. We seek a team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is driven and proactive in developing and learning.
A clinician with a minimum of two years’ experience, that includes working within the area of any of the settings of orthopaedics, rehabilitation or musculoskeletal outpatients, and is looking to further their career in this field. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of an established team, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is driven and proactive in their ongoing development of advanced skills. You will be able to work autonomously, manage and prioritise your caseload within the outpatient setting while supporting the growth of students, junior staff and the Allied Health Assistant workforce.
The outpatient physiotherapy role involves working with a wide range of patients referred from the orthopaedic, and rheumatology services, outpatient departments, as well as GP and community referrals and first presentation ACC injuries. You will be based in our physiotherapy outpatient department with our experienced team of physiotherapists.
