Dietitian – Invercargill Community Mental Health Team

About the Team
This permanent 0.5 FTE position is based within the Invercargill Community Mental Health Team – and is truly a frontline role providing input to outpatients, and includes rural CMHTs across Southland, Central Lakes and Clutha. Joining our multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Registered Nurses and Social Workers, you’ll work with a broad-based generic caseload, utilising your mental health experience.
To be effective and to continue the momentum that we currently enjoy, you’ll have well developed interpersonal skills and be passionate about your work and the significant gains that can be made. In return you’ll be well supported in our team with peer review, clinical supervision and access to collegial support and professional development opportunities.
To be successful in this role you will have two years post registration clinical practice experience preferably in Mental Health, and the ability to meet the demands of a busy workload to a high standard.

New Zealand Registration as a Dietitian with a current Annual Practicing Certificate with prescriber endorsement is essential, as is a driver’s licence, for this role.
