Clinical Nurse Specialist – Infection Prevention & Control
Are you interested in taking that next step in your nursing career? Here in Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) we have a great opportunity for someone to undertake this role as a fixed term secondment. A key focus of the role is on achieving and maintaining clinical excellence and improving health outcomes for patients. You’ll provide leadership, role model quality nursing practice and foster education and research throughout the service.
The role requires either a good knowledge of IPC or a strong interest in this area, guiding and supporting the delivery of safe, patient focused care
It would be ideal if you have a relevant post graduate diploma and be working towards a Masters qualification, however we want to offer this opportunity as a real learning experience so we are not making these criteria a mandatory requirement.
Initially the role has been approved as a Fixed Term/Secondment position, however it is likely to transfer to a permanent role. We are also flexible with the hours/FTE so would love to hear from you. Please detail in your cover letter the hours/days you can commit to working.
Closing Date: Sunday, 18th February 2018
