Complaints under the Smoke-free Environments Act

Public Health South employs designated Smoke-free Officers to enforce the Smoke-free Environments Act.  Smoke-free Officers respond to complaints from the public regarding:

  • The sale of tobacco or herbal smoking products to people under 18 years
  • Smoking inside a workplace
  • Smoking inside licensed premises
  • Advertising tobacco products or brands

Making a complaint

It is important that breaches of Smoke-free law are investigated.  Please contact (link to table) Public Health South to make a complaint or fill in a complaint form (link to complaint form) online.
