Dunedin is a GREAT PLACE to live and work
Don’t just take our word for it here's what our current theatre nursing staff say.
“Dunedin is a great place to live. Housing is more affordable - I have built a substantial 4 bedroom home with plenty of land for less than half a million. It also offers a great lifestyle with mountain biking tracks and surf beaches at our back door, plus there is great designer shopping”
‘’Dunedin hospital theatres offers the opportunity to work in a tertiary hospital with exposure to many surgical specialties from trauma to cardiac and neurosurgery. It is closely associated with the medical school so there are great learning opportunities for everyone”.
I have 2 small children and we are so lucky, we have great schools, a great community, and it’s safe’. Everything is close and accessible and there are always lots of family activities to do rain or shine".
“When I first moved to Dunedin I was apprehensive, but I have found the people to be more welcoming and friendlier than other places I have worked, both in New Zealand and overseas. We are so lucky here, on days off I can chose to go to the beach or fishing, and Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world, is just a couple of hours drive away”.
“What I love about Dunedin is the ease and convenience of getting around town. There are no traffic jams and the folks are friendly”.
