Maternity Quality

Maternity Quality

This webpage provides an overview of maternity services and resources available for women, babies and whānau in the Southern District.  By providing linkages between users and providers we hope to enhance the wellbeing of the women and babies who access Southern maternity services.

Southern’s Maternity Quality and Safety Programme provides a framework for the ongoing review and improvement of our maternity services.  This webpage provides information about our outcomes and progress.  Our Maternity Annual Report 2015 provides an overview of Southern’s performance against the New Zealand Maternity Standards and New Zealand Maternity Clinical Indicators.
